To use input only, fill the 'Driver' of the input in the INI file (for the Input section only), and set 'EnableWasapi1' in the Config section. I will try to refresh my drivers but after some thinking I came to the conclusion maybe I don't even have sound card. You can stick to using input only, or output only, or both. Recently decided to get Rocksmith 2012 for the Autumn Steam sale and have been looking around for a way to play without the realtone cable but cant find anything. Technically speaking, the "no cable patch" is a form a piracy, since it's not officially sanctioned by Ubisoft.
